I have to take back my Gangsta Hold Does Not workI just tried it again-this time with much less cant-maybe just 10 degrees-before I was trying to twist it twice that muchWell I shot about as well as I do "suffering" cranking my neck down- 4 shots at 10 meters 15mm from POA 20MM from POINT OF AIM 5MM POINT OF AIM 15MM point of aimSo it might work-but not for me-just too annoying to have to hold it cockeyed-but it probably "works"

That's 37 fps below claim with the fastest pellet, and 105 fps below claim with actually good pellets. Everybody does that, do they not? No, they don't. ...I just wanted to address that statement - Velocity claims are generally worded as "up to X fps" and are made with lightweight pellets. Superdomes are midweight 14.5 grain pellets. I think if you were to try 11.9 grain RWS Basic/Hobby pellets, or 11.75 grain Predator GTO alloy pellets, your HW95 would proabably achieve its rating.

...I hear you, but you didn't really address the whole Weihrauch velocity issue. I've learned Weihrauch guys tend to do that. But I'm far from the only person who has noticed that Weihrauchs don't shoot near what they should. The "should" is based on the fact that you don't need to use anything but midweight, accurate pellets to reach manufacturer's claims with Dianas, Walthers or FWB's. Buying a cheap Gamo or Stoeger for 199, it's very much a given that numbers are inaccurate / inflated. When you shell out 400 bucks for an iconic German machine, the expectations are different. To be able to stand up in the German springer section, HW95's / HW77's and their variants should shoot 230 m/s with mid-weight, accurate pellets. That's the whole point. It also isn't hard to do. 230 m/s accurate pellets are far superior to 199 m/s accurate pellets.
