I'm looking to replace the cheap plastic rear sight on my Benjamin vaporizer. Hav'nt had much luck, so I thought I would try here. Anyone else go through this, or have any ideas?

Hi Greg, I have 2 Crosman springers that came with plastic flimsy rear sights. After putting them in nicer Gamo wood stocks and better ARH main springs, I wanted to get a good metal sight that would not involve drilling and tapping the breech block on the guns. There was nothing available so I came up with this. It is a Thompson Center metal click adjustable sight. This one I found used at a gun show. It is made for a muzzle loader so I had to make a base cut from a piece of PVC pipe shaped to fit the bottom of the sight. Drilled holes in the PVC to mount on the gun then drilled & threaded holes in the PVC for the sight screws to mount on it and painted the thing black to match the sight. It has worked great on my .177 and .22 Quests. The T/C sights for powder burners would be easier to fit on these guns as they have curved bottoms instead of octagon shapes.
