Travis are you teasing us?
I loved the independence the Shoebox brought to my life, but they sounded like somebody pulling a Dime Store off a cliff with a diesel truck, add in my Harbor Freight compressor and the noise was horrendous. As time went by, belt drives and pressure shut offs made them quieter, but so did going deaf in old age.RC
Travis, it looks like you have a drier on the input. It's clear so you can see if it has water in it. Right?Hunter
Going blind and deaf is the spooky route, add in senility and your really in for a white knuckled ride.RC
Any innards shots?
I often wonder how effective the drying beads are given the high volume of air passing through them at such a rate.I also wonder about the beads breaking down and plugging things up.I have zero experience with them. I've only used the 'tampon' type filters.
This is the first mention of $500. I might be interested in a 2 stage booster to fill tanks in the $500 range using my existing shop compressor. This could possibly put my tanks back in service. But above that, like I said previously, not interested in putting out more money for such small returns in convenience to me.
