Sling for the B3-2!

I finally found a military-style sling for the Chinese B3-2. Found it on an Amazon seller's page that has all manner of tactical slings. Too bad they/he didn't have a 1" width sling in white. That would've been cool. But 1" olive drab would've fit better. Since Gander Mtn isn't up the street anymore, I can't get the 1" logo sling like I used on the 160 Pellgun. And to complicate matters, the rear end of the sling was stitched together with the slide adjusters. But the front end of the sling could be dismounted and slid through the swivel on the breech end of the barrel block. But I had to disassemble the rear sling mount and spread the sling loop a bit to get it together. No biggy though. Here's a few pics, since they say so much more...

I figured that was how you got that on there.

It was the only way to do it due to it's construction. But it looks decent. Too bad the sling is 1 1/4" wide. 1" would've been ideal in vintage carbine size.

I recently bought this sling for my Daisy Eagle model 98, built 11/9/61. Then I found an eBay seller that has repro slings, including the leather one! So I installed this Amish-made buffalo hide carbine sling on the Chinese B3-2.

I found out recently that mine is a B3-3, due to having the safety lever in front of the trigger. Uncomfortable spot for it though...
