Quote from: Lani52 on October 25, 2021, 01:01:02 PMPhillip,I am glad you guys did the Craftsman series, I do love my Kratos. However being in a niche market that has me casting my own airgun bullets and having to shoot them single shot because the Craftsman’s magazine has been redesigned and shortened and thus will not take the same length bullets the original Kral magazine did.Giant step backwards to shave 10 bucks off the cost of the gun, the Kratos magazine being 10 bucks cheaper than the Kral but shorter. I have had the Bulldog for a few years, it is a wonderful rifle as is my Kratos and wish the Kratos had such a magazine design. However I understand I am member of a small grouping that is a niche market. As a result, I swage my cast bullets shorter and resize. i have purchased a Kral magazine to see if I can make that work. However like Manny, to bend to our wishes would cost you that bottom line.Benjamin has educated me to the Kral line of airguns, but next time I will spend my money on a rifle with a longer magazine. If you incorporated the Bulldogs magazine on the larger caliber Gunnars, that can take longer cast bullets. I would buy one, probably preorder it.Regards,RoachcreekHey Roachcreek,I'm glad that you love your Kratos. About the magazine, I hear you and will keep that in mind as we design new products. Just to let you know, the guns made in Turkey for us have nothing to do with Kral. They dont make them for us. Totally different company and factory.I will say the Gunnar .22/.25 will use the same mags as the Craftsman series. The .45 Gunnar will have a longer magazine and should work with slugs up to about .9".

I’m glad I bought extra mags last month when they were on sale at Midway. I have the Akela in .22 and Kratos in .25. Leaning toward .22 for the Gunnar. Curious what the shot count will be?
My ported Kratos gets 50 shots in the high 40 FPE/50 FPE, but with a 3625 fill. That is with a CF bottle, very slow velocity change, 1 to 3 FPS a shot, stays on the 940’s to 950’s quite a while. It would be a perfect rifle if not for the magazine being limited to projectile length. I have been swaging my slugs down in length and then resizing. Takes a while but accuracy is great.I have also been experimenting with my low powered regulator to get more power, with my 47.7 grain MPMold bullet I have it shooting 650 FPS and Kings @ 822 FPS. Taking my time turning it up.Regards,RoachcreekRoachcreek
The smaller caliber Gunman models are really going to need to perform when you consider some of the competition. Or some other feature like swapping caliber kits to make them take off. There are a lot of really good 177, 22, 25 out there for far less money. I think the 30, 357, and 45 are going to be where They start to distinguish themselves. Assuming they bring the 30 and 357 to the table.
This seems like Vaporware...MidwayUSA had then available on Pre-order with a coming soon for $999, now there at $899Pyramid air still has them as Coming Soon as well for $999.You would think Benjamin would have delivered a few to some of the better known youtubers to at least get reviews out there.Where are they Benjamin???
Drop ship directly to customer? Pretty sure my bulldog came from pyramid that way, can't remember if the traveller 2 was drop shipped.

So I'm sure that is a dilemma.
Gunnar is a goner.
The longer 'they' wait the more the competition/market heats up. Crosman hasn't been the only one to be in this dilemma, behind the '8 Ball so to speak. Two that come to mind are Umarex's Gauntlet and DAR.
