Blueprints and understanding, where to start ?

Good morning everyone,
I used lathe and milling machine for few years as a hobby and I'm now totally focused on PCP rifle after having tried one (Ataman branded as a daystate if I'm correct), so much better than my Gamo roadster (and not the same price for sure).
Unfortunately, my knowledge about PCP is quite low, I had a look to several youtube videos which are quite interesting but I would like to go deeper in the process.
My goal is to understand how everything works and go together, then modelize a PCP in a 3D software such as Solidworks and then try to make one if I feel capable.
This is quite complicated to find good tehcnical literature in french.
I will receive soon Buckley's books I hope they will be interesting.
I ended up in this forum as I discovered the post from Mr Sterne about making his own PCP.
I will go through a lot of topics in this sub forum but I would like to know if it's common here to share blueprints of DIY rifle ?
this would be a huge help in my journey
Have a good day

Not sure if it is common to share prints. When I make parts, I will share drawings and even CAD files to whoever wants them.

First of all, I have made several custom PCPs, all different.... Secondly, I never make detailed drawings, at the most I make a dimensioned sketch of the critical parts, just to use when making it.... Sorry, but I really can't help there.... If you let me know which gun you are interested in, the thread following the build should be in this Workshop Gate, and hopefully I can give you a link for it....

I haven't built a Custom PCP to shoot pellets in many years.... Here is the thread for the last couple of project guns I did, one regulated (@2800 psi) and the other unregulated (up to 4500 psi)....
https://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=128036.0
By the time I was finished all the parts were interchangeable and I had four calibers.... .172 cal, .224 cal, .243 cal, and .257 cal.... Here is the second thread....

Welcome, Paul
I see some people share design concept that were laid or animated in CAD. What I have not seen, is a complete functional airgun design shared publicly.
If your goal is a functional PCP, then I think that can be done by some research. If your goal is a design that is better than anything on the market, that will be a very steep road to travel.
If you are looking for "how it works" material, with graphics that might help future designs, then that info is available scattered all over the internet, including youtube and this forum.
Have you seen these videos, as an introduction:

The heart of a PCP is probably the valve. For power and efficiency.
When it comes to impressive "skeleton and muscles" too, this thread in particular makes a very good impression on me:

Hi Paul, If you want to understand blue prints, taking a drafting class would be a big help. As for pcp design I would start with the simplest design, ( a tube with a fill valve at one end and a firing valve and hammer at the other end). If you make the gun with the fewest possible number of parts, it's much easier to understand how everything works together, and to trouble shoot any problems.

Hi everyone and thank you for your prompt replies
I contacted several persons, bought few books and watched a lot a videos recently.
First of all, I don't have the pretention to build something better than what is sold on the market. I'm an hobbyist with only manual machines, this is impossible to compete
But what i want to build is something satisfying to use where I know why I decided to build like this, why I made such decisions and so on. And obviously, it has to work
I'm currently designing my own PCP inspired by Howard books but I make some modification/interpretation as everything is not crystal clear in drawings.
At the end I hope i will manage to build a regulated PCP with side lever action in order to reload.
I'm also converting everything I can to metric size... European here
