I made up some multiple bull targets using CAD software and I use them to practice my "bucket and sticks" shooting form with my HW break barrels.

Ed, those targets you made are great!   Are they available for download as a PDF or Word Doc?

I have a few in pdf format.
They were created in the standard 8 1/2" 11" letter format.
email me at ncedxyz27572@hotmail.com and I reply with some attachments. (delete xyz)

I think the hang up with paper is it’s ability to document your miss. And that can nag at a shooter…

Yep, like this...........

Here I divided the target into two days shooting without warm-up shots or zeroing the second day while testing Krytox lube and oring sealed piston cap mod...........

I can definitely see a psychological effect on the shooter when it comes to the next shot. Because you’re literally staring at your miss, while trying to make a bull…

Ed, why the double shots on the last target?  Economy or something else?

PAINTBALLS !!!
Go to Walmart and buy a box of paintballs. 2000 of them for $25 <>.
You can probably find them cheaper online or whatever.
They are sooo fun and no clean up... they just go away with the rain.
They are aprox. 1/2" targets and you can just scatter them around or setup up a stationary fixture by drilling 3/8" dimples into a 4x4 so they don't roll around.
They give a satisfying "SPLAT" sound and green snot goes everywhere.

Yep, did that years ago but the PBs were glued to a piece of card stock taped  cardboard backing............

Here is a "bucket and sticks" result under WV field conditions that proved that I had no excuse for shooting squirrels at 50 yards judging how far off some of the misses were.............

Anywhoo.......I stopped doing the PBs simply because it was too much of a hassle!

Finding the right smallest size target without straining . I find outlined in black squares work better for me ,  make different sizes for different distances . Scoped and open sights.

Paper does not lie.
You see EXACTLY how much you missed the point of aim.
For some, that is intimidating.
Like the difference between practice and match scores.
