Thought I share a pic of my Webley 3. I purchased the gun a few years ago for collection. I've always admired the older Webleys and when i stumbled across this, and finished up a fair negotiation...i had too have.

It is slow here. Love the Mark 3's, and yours is an absolute stunner. Thanks for sharing!

Speaking of slow.... tomorrow is the last workday before our 2 week summer shutdown. There are, no less than, 30 people in cubicles in our production office space and you could hear a pin drop..... it's kinda freaky because normally it would be the constant hum of hustle and bustle.
Everyone is head down and buttoning things up before we are paroled.

Gorgeous stock indeed thank you for sharing.

I know nothing about wood types trees other than hardwoods-oak- are hard softwoods -like pine-are soft
What kind of wood is that beautiful stock? Does not look like walnut or beech?
It looks a bit like the mahogany chest of drawers sitting behind me-but I don't think stocks are made of mahogany?
Thanks
Charlie

I do shoot the rifle in the backyard on occasion. As far the wood, I don't know what kind it is.

To the best of my knowledge, all Mk 3 stocks are European walnut. Sometimes rather stunning as you can see!
Thanks for the pics of this one. If you can tell us the serial number we can probably give the date.
