I like the idea of fixed power scopes, mostly because I always leave my variable powered scopes at the max setting. Does anyone have any experience with the scope in the title for field target? Specifically the scopes ability to range find through AO?Wondering if the supposed clarity of the fixed power 20 would be comparable to 24x in a variable scope? It would be going on a Mac1 Hunter that is currently being built by Tim. I ordered two barrels, .22 and .177. I do a fair amount of pesting (prairie dog, ground squirrel, collared dove, starling, jackrabbit, etc) with my airguns so the scope would be used quite a bit for that as well. Could the scopes range finding through ao be competitive in Open Class field target? I'm not a clicker and prefer using holdover in case that plays into the answer to my question.Thanks.
Couple considerations since you mentioned a Mac1 Hunter...1. Not legal for the hunter class but fine for others.
