Nice, Ricky.... I wonder if the center of the slug bumped up in size from hammering it into the bore?.... Measure it compared to an "as cast" to check.... The slug was designed to just clear the lands in the midbody (0.248")....

Hi Bob, I checked and yes it's about. 250. I also was thinking about when I was editing the film. Looks like it didn't go in square and true since it doesn't have a chamber to guide it in. That's probably the reason for hitting on one side.

Trigger guard and grip section machined. Got the threads in for the ar buffer tube.
