New Submission 100 Yards .177
« on: July 30, 2022, 11:35:20 PM »
We had a nice day, and I am finally done with the carriage house, the sink went in last week. (shop cabinets next)

So today I thought I would set up and shoot a NUAH submission with the .177 Benjamin Akela.  Its a bit challanging since I only have a 3-9 bug buster on it...that will change someday.
Benjamin Akela .177
JSB 13.43 Knockouts (one was not social)
Fill from SCBA
104 Yards
Caldwell Stable Table
Large bags front, single rear.
Shooting SSW into an Outers .22 target trap as it sure holds the targets nice.
Wind 8mph at 2m from the south.

I can't read the group size on the calipers in the photo.... Please state that, as it will determine which Division I put you in.... and next time write it on the Target....

It looks like the 8-ring is a bit under 4" (which is OK), but next time take one photo with the ruler right across the middle, so we can see the diameter of that ring better....

When I check your NUAH Division, I see you are already classed as an "Expert".... Based on a group size of 1.515" (from your first photo), this target would only qualify as "Sharpshooter", so no change will be made....

Great shooting with a .177! It took me quite a few tries to do it.
