T eagle optics
« on: June 20, 2022, 08:53:51 PM »
Lately been seeing this brand, just haven't seen alot of reviews for it. I did watch a guy on youtube use the 3-9x & performed a box test which the scope done really well considering its price. More interested in this one - https://www.t-eagle.net/product/t-eagle-4-16x44sfir/?attribute_size=20mm+Low+Mounts

I thought it was cool having the illuminated ret & built in level. Anyone using one?

Thanks

Maybe I'm just overly cautious, but reading though their web site I see to many small mistakes in spelling and grammar. That's a ted flag to me that it was put up quickly without careful proof reading..I personally would shy away from them.

You can buy them from Amazon.

I got this 2nd focal plane one for my AR a couple of months ago. I am impressed with the machining quality and the beefiness of the materials used. Not the best glass, but this is only a slightly over $100 scope. Overall, I'm happy with it.
Got mine off Amazon:

I'm not seeing the particular model I was looking at on Amazon. I did see alot of reviews thanks to the link Xracer provided.  BTW, that looks good on your AR! Really like the color.

It isn't like I actually need another scope! I have 4 just lying around collecting dust now! Guess I'm kind of a glass junky.. I bet I'm not alone there!

Thanks, Robert!

I've got a bunch of glass myself. Mostly inexpensive stuff. I have a hard time shelling out just as much for the optics, as the guns.

I've been wanting that 2x28 for awhile.  Sadly, it's a 2-month delivery ETA from a certain oversees vendor, can't find it locally.

Our friends in the UK seem to speak highly of T-eagles (considering budget); that shorty seems perfect for a quick-reaction pest-scope within, say, 20 yards.

Xraycer - I am the same way! once in a while I splurge on glass & after words always wonder why.
Guess thats why I like Bushnell so well. IMO, the prime line up is some impressive glass & competes well with scopes costing much more in as far as brightness & clarity. The eye box can be finicky on top power & I'm not sure what percentage they hold there reticles to plumb, but what I do know, is they work for me at a fraction of the cost!

The fact that they accept PayPal gives me comfort. PayPal has had my back on a couple occasions.
