Hi.
I'd love to hear about the coil spring Gamo Magnum GR if anyone has one.
I have a Swarm Magnum gen 2 but it is way too hard to cock.
I thought I might detune a GR to match my strength.
Thank you!

Got one about 3 weeks ago when it was on sale for $199.99 and free shipping. Chronograph puts it about 27 - 28 fpe. Power much like a Hatsan 125, but about 1.5lb lighter weight wise. I like it so far, need to sight it in with the scope it came with. Don't buy if you like to shoot without a scope, raised cheekpiece makes it hard to do. Typical magnum cocking force 41 - 45lbs. Doesn't bother me but you might have to take off two or three coils if you find the Swarm Magnum gen 2 too much to cock.

Thanks for all the info.
I hoped it would be light like most Gamo's, but you never know how accurate the sales ad is.
I'd like to take one down to 20ish ft lbs a coil or two at a time and make it a smooth shooting low to mid-powered magnum.
Thanks for the reminder about the stock, too.
My Swarm Magnum is the same way. I can't get my eye low enough to hit anything!
That aside, I am amazed Gamo has figured out how to make springers so lightweight and powerful but still accurate and not very hold-sensitive. Even their cheapest springer is a trigger mod away from shooting bullseyes, IMO.
