Even a 15% loss of flow due to the 90 deg. turn should make the port (which is 0.218") act like one that is 0.200".... Since the barrel port is 0.172", this should not be a problem, IMO....Bob
One last thing! I had about a 1/8" - 1/4" piece of worn 1200 grit paper get stuck in my Co2 cartridge nozzle ..... fell inside and is lost .- should I: Not worry about? Remove it? Use another Co2 cartridge and toss it?
ES on a regulated PCP is usually a matter of running to far below the plateau velocity....Bob
Actually, shooting ON the plateau will usually produce the lowest ES, but velocity is more sensitive to pressure change in the bottle, and of course uses a lot more air.... Part of finding the sweet spot between balancing power and efficiency is considering the effect on ES.... If you tune to more efficiency, you will usually increase the ES....Bob
