Sorry, all if I'm opening a half-now dead thread again, but I just picked up a Carbine in 25, that I need to get some rounds through to see if the groups settle down, and I haven't had a chance to Chrony it or the HP Max SS 30 yet either. I picked up an extra 30 carbine length shroud when I go the 25 carbine for the HP Max SS and it did wonders for backyard friendliness. A couple of quick questions now that I have read through all 45-ish pages. I saw mention of single shot trays and would love to pick up a 25 and 30 cal version or at least the 3D print files so I can roll my own. I remember I believe it was Mr. P who used the stock holder to make a semi-power adjuster, need to find that page/s again as I might need to turn the 30 up a bit before the NSA slugs get here. Well, so far I very much like both of mine, so tinkering will come soon enough, any word on aftermarket or home tuning bits and pieces? I have my own lathe, so I'm up to make just about anything. Seriously considering getting a 257 barrel and turning it to fit in the 30 SS so I can swap it in for serious long-range haven't decided. Thanks all,Casey

These are my go-to pellet for .25 and even though I do cast my hunting ammo, plinking now is dependent on paying six and a half cents per shot or spending my scarce free time to hand cast. Bulk .22lr is now right at that same price point at several of the rural farm supply stores throughout Minnesota and Iowa. The next few months will be interesting as the .22lr prices are likely to drop even further.

No regrets with this one. My 3rd AEA.

My 3rd AEA.Is the Terminator your fav over the other 2 AEAs'?Like many of us I am torn as to which one to get.To add to the 'kid in the candy store' dilemma is when I compare it to other similar PCPs'.Hence the 'FOMAD' leads to no choice being made. After all, this has to be my last PCP
Thanks for the pointers everyone, so where do I find a couple of single shot trays, one for the 25 carbine, and another for the 30 cal Max? I'll pull the barrel after I mic it and order a 257 blank maybe two since I have a Talondor with a bad boy valve in it, and some custom hammers that were made by a guy in Europe, part brass, the rest Delrin. They are slick as can be an almost no slap when they strike the breech. Anyway back to the AEA's, the best place to pick up a small quantity of Peek to make some popets, might even treat my custom still haven't settled on a caliber Disco to a new poppet too so I can get even more out of it.Casey
Chris I'm more than happy with the AEA457Max that I bought, I've only shot it a half dozen times so far but sighting it in at 30 yards was a breeze but I'll be going over to my brothers with it for a better sighting in because out there I wouldn't draw attention when shooting it, I do want to get it shooting dead on at 30 yards because in the SW Michigan woods that's usually about as far as a person needs to shoot to get a deer during season. Last year on opening day I head shot a squirrel with my .357 Challenger at about 40 yards, all the AEA's that I own are dandy hunting guns for sure. That .457 Max IS LOUD however it's very light and shooting the BBT's with it would probably be equal to shooting a .410 slug which is very popular for deer hunting here in Michigan. The main reason I never pulled the trigger on a Challenger pro is because it would be more than less ideal for hunting, way too heavy and cumbersome to carry.
I ended up getting the Varmint in .25 but the barrel was pitted and rusty. RMA from Tarvis at UA, gotta send it back.
