35 shooter - I think that may work good. IDK, but they are dense so a slightly oversized tray would stay in place well and not have a lot of give when used. I am getting a Huben K1 and I wonder if a piece could replace the loading plastic guide. Just lightly glued to the receiver, tall enough to keep ammo from coming out the back, but short enough to simply press ammo down on it a bit and load the mag.. giving access to 3 holes at a time... hmmm, I think that would work and would not look too bad. Still.. we have tons more that need a purpose. I did end up getting a couple of centers.. so they do exist. I can have some full squares to use in rifle cases. I can glue them together and then cut holes for use as supporting case foam.
Which glue would you use? The foam seems to be some type of urethane which doesn't glue nicely. I was thinking of using it to protect my CF tank. Get a cheap Walmart gym bag and line it with the glued together foam.
