Taking Hoosier Momma to the "Big City" for lunch at the restaurant of her choice... meeting my (80 year old) Mom and Step-Dad. Belated Birthday celebration because this is her first day off since her actual Birthday.Mom still is VERY active but her husband is ... well... not so good. I just plan on picking him up after he falls and bandaging his wounds...again...it happens every time. If we can avoid concrete or brick it will be a good day.
Good morning GTA! Happy Wednesday, it’s Hump-Day! Up at 0500 CT. I have to drop off Mahayla at the U of A for orientation at 0800. Tomorrow is move in day. Then I’ll head off to go look at a brand new site with a/c issues.
Why am I envisioning something akin to Salvador Dalí artwork?
Well, today is the day. Our girl Bebe is going for her last ride. She's 6 or 7 weeks away from turning 17 so she's lived more than a full life. We've had her since the day she was born but the last year she's been declining and we knew the day would come in the not so distance future. She can't walk and really can't see very well anymore and now we can hardly get get her to eat. We're pretty sure she's full of cancer and we know she has a vascular tumer on her neck which might be why she is not eating.

It sounds like Bebe has been a loyal and loved companion. I've been there, cherish the memories. Dan
