I'll be the first to admit I "chumped" at the chance. The dice have been rolled, 4 tins ordered, we'll see what condition they arrive in.

I’ve bought H&N pellets from one of the “big” sellers and they came shrink wrapped in lots of 4 tins. If yours are the same, there should be less chance of damage.

I guess I've just been lucky but the pellets I've ordered from Amazon were packaged ok.

just ordered 4, will see how they look..I ordered some 3 or yrs ago and tins were all dented up but pellets were fine.

well I do have a couple rifles that like them... am down to ~four tins... so did the same as when the Ftt were at a decent price... ordered one tin... after it ships will order one more... got decently non dented tins that way... and does not cost me extra...
and only want a couple tins anyways...

Received my four tins from gorillazon today. Loosely packed in double walled paper bag and beat to *(&^. Opened each tin, a few damaged skirts in each but most appear to have survived.
As damaged and out of shape the tins are, I'm actually quite surprised the paper bag they were shipped in didn't tear open.
I hate myself for giving any money to bozos so this definitely helps in that regard, no more pellets from them.

I hate myself for giving any money to bozos so this definitely helps in that regard, no more pellets from them.
We need a "Like" button on this forum for post like these. I avoid buying anything from Amazon for so many reasons. This is the smallest reason, but still valid.

pellets arrived today, packed in a padded envelope with another item(shirt) but no other padding at all so they were slammed around all during shipping.. if you can believe this theres not a blemish on any of the tins, not even a slight dimple how I dont know but they made it in perfect condition.

So the trick is order a shirt with the pellets, return the shirt, as soon one would have way too many shirts ;)

I wonder if you can buy Styrofoam peanuts from Amazon?
If they shipped that with your pellets it's a "win-Win".

mine arrived yesterday and the day before... one came from San Diego Ca... the screw top was weirdly bulging with a bunch of very small outwards impact dents... only a couple of pellets with damage...
the other shipped from Kent Wa and arrived in perfect condition... both just in a padded envelope...

Ok, it wasn't the H&Ns that started this thread, but my AA tin arrived in great shape. They are oddly inside a thin sealed bag, inside the expected bubble mailer. Are they expecting the tin to bust open and spill its contents?

That's a new one. I think you hit the nail on the head on that one! Most likely to contain the pellets if the tin gets banged up and opens up.

Well u guys made me go take inventory….Im short more than I thought….4 tins (all would let me order) in the hopes of maybe getting better packing ..threw in some Umarex gas and other odds/ends….expected arrival 8/31…lol…I try and keep my amazon orders to less than $100..but still free shipping….good luck
I dont see how….but had I chose free prime trial delivery 8/18……lol
