so I got the ati nova liberty ..synthetic stock... aka nova aspen syn ...aka SMK Nova Vista Alpha ... akaATI NOVA VISTA PCP ... very simular air ventu adventure ...syn stock
the front of stock only has a single mounting point .. a swivel .. ( dos not look very robust ) but does attach to barrel band...
... what I want ..looking for is what I believe is the mlock backer / backing plate . .. I want to add it to the stock over or next to the front swivel .. Im willing to carve out a little of the
stock to add the plate inside the stock gluing it or epoxy or other so as to have two mounting points to the stock for a bipod mount...
... a 4 slot picatinny rail screwed to the swivel point and the point im willing to carve / glue should make a reasonablely tuff mounting ...
so asking the brains that be here for the hardware needed ( if you can undertstand my explaination )... or options .. but mostly hardware ..
to emulate .. or actual mlock backer plate allowing for to add the 4 slot pictinny rail that uses mlock attachment ....
as I am new to modifying this kind of stuff .. I may not be using the correct terms ... but the picatinny rail from amazon has T nuts that are used to attach to Mlock point
as I understand the description .. I want to add. that .to the inside of the stock .
... point fyi!!! the stock is hollow and opens up in two halves adding a plate to one side(glued?) should be enough to anchor plate across middle line allowing me to
drill a hole in center line to add rail ...

I think what you're looking for is something like this:

There are several available at Midway USA, you attach this to the MLOK and it gives you a picatinny mounting point. Thoughts?

Turbinator thanks ... but no... thats what I have ... what i want is the part that the T-nuts grab on to ... probabily looks like a square washer that the T nuts can grab ...
I was thinking I could glue (it / them) inside the thin plastic stock ( foregrip ) to add a two point attachment vs just the one ( swivel point ) ...
FYI the picatinny I bought is a 5 slot ... .. one attatchment screw will go into the swivel location the other I want too make ( thus the backer plate ) std Mlock is just a slot
of a special size ... my foregrip is too thin alone wanted a plate with the same M Lock slot to glue inside my fore grip .... with a hole put where it needs to be for
the 5 slot picatinny rail .

I need a piece that looks like whats inside the red circle ... or smaller .. just need one T-nut to attatch to it ...

Now I follow you, sorry about not understanding at first. Now I'm thinking you want something like this:

This isn't necessarily M-LOK compatible, but I do think from what you described, this is the sort of thing you're looking for. You might need to machine out the slot a little more and figure out how to mount it, but I think this is heading in the right direction. Thoughts?

YES exactly ... only small ish and Mlok compatable as you say
just need one short slot to glue / fasten inside of plastic stock forearm area...
any ideas anyone ???

So I noticed there's a lot of these metal "backer plates" available online, in various sizes and shapes. Perhaps perusal of Amazon to see what else is out there, could help?
Or if you have the ability to fashion one yourself out of a basic plate purchased from the hardware store, that could be your starting point...
