Title: New Butt pad on an old gun...
Post by: Hoosier Daddy on May 04, 2022, 10:12:20 PM
I have a Bisly adjustable Butt pad I bought to fit on several of my guns..
Tonight I chose the Winchester 435 because the original red pad was rotten.
Here is where I start.

Removed the old rotten red OEM pad..
Screw holes are off, either end... Of course.
So I sanded down a 1/4 dowel and with some glue filled the screw holes.
BUT they were counter sunk.. so tonight I cut and glued in 3/8 dowel plugs.

Sanded down the filler plugs and did a rough cut on the base plate
