Went kayak fishing for reds on the fourth and picked up a couple nice Reds & Drum. I can only eat so much fried & baked fish. That being the case, I'm always on the look out for ways to cook'em up.
I filleted the and cut the fish into chunks and boiled it good Cajun seasoning until flaky. Then, I threw in my trinity (bell pepper, celery, & red onion) mixed it up with a small amount of cane syrup & local natural bees honey and finally mixed in a bit of Italian bread crumbs. Made the mixture into hamburger sized patties and pan fried'em with sum grilled asparagus on the side.
I have to say, I'm my own worse critic when it comes to my cooking, but after this meal I'm too full to shoot. (But not to full to brag)🎣 Everyone thought it taste just like crab patties.

Rod
You should be banned for this post. It has nothing to do with air guns, pellets, shooting, or targets. And, maybe most important, I missed the invitation.
Just joking around. This recipe is now on my "must try" list.
Be sure to put a copy in the "Wild Game . . . ." gate. --->

EDIT:
[Sometime later] - Rod, I see that Dave has moved your post for us. Thanks, Dave. Now all I need is a couple of sleek Redfish and a sharp fillet knife.

Sorry Dave. Goes to show how big this site is, I didn't know this gate existed. See what I get, the first time I post with out asking a question
Mike, let me know when you want to hit the water and I'll load up the yaks. I hear there are some big specks on your end.
It's a simple recipe that you have probably eaten before in restaurants when ordering crab dishes. Had I placed the mix into cab shells and put a layer bread crumb on top before baking in the oven you couldn't tell the difference.
