Well I was outside for a bit, watching the birds when I noticed this little bugger. He noticed me as well, took off and I lost him.
So I went inside for about 2 hours and went back out. I looked up into the nearest tree and noticed a little bushy tail hanging down one of the branches.
I took aim and figured he was about 25 yards away, My rifle is sighted in at 50 so I Aimed 1 mil dot low. Pulled the trigger and POW! His tail twiched for a second or two and then he fell like a rock, Hit every branch on the way down, and did his little dance at the bottom.

From the amount of blood it look's like you hit a major fuel line so to speak so it was a good kill. Ed

That's some great range estimation right there. .177 or .22? My guess is .177.
Regardless great kill and great shooting.

Thanks guys! My father-in-law is an avid bow shooter so I am quizzed on ranges on a regular basis, after a few months you tend to get dang good at it.
My Walther Talon is a .22 cal.

Very nice shooting on that BT! Looks like you probably severed an artery or the spine at the neck depending on the angle and trajectory. Way to figure out the holdover.
