If you skin the squirrel right it takes 1 minute and no hair touches the meat.
I used to have a link for a video that showed a great way to skin nutters (I use it myself) and it works great, but I can't find it on my pc. Involved making a cut just below the tail bone, cutting just deep enough to sever the tail bone, extending the slice a little past the tail on both sides and then using the knife blade to separate that small portion of skin form the meat. After that you lay the nutter on the ground on it's back, place your foot firmly on the tail (close to the body) and then firmly grasp both hind legs and simply pull straight up. The hide peels off the nutter in one piece and all that's left is for you to pull the feet out of the carcass and cut off the head. Works like a charm and takes about 30 seconds once you get good at it. No hair at all on the meat. I wish I could find that video link but if you search YouTube I'm sure you can find such a video.
