I smoke checked this guy about an hour ago. The pictures don't really do justice. There is a GIANT cavity where the fuse box should be. My 25 Marauder is putting out about 41 fpe. Shot was taken at 10 yards.
Enjoy!
Here is the squirrel feeder I picked him off of.

Thanks for the replies fellas.
I dont know why the 2nd picture was removed. I will get it sorted out because it was a close up that really puts the shot into perspective.
Edit: 2nd pic back up for now..
I should also point out that the last picture shows the lighting during the shot. Simply a AA mag light with a red lens. Around 12 yards..

Thanks for the nice comments. Yeah, I thought he was a big one too. Head and body was around 7-8 inches and he had some weight on him as well.
It was kind of funny how I got this one. I knew they are nesting in this one particular shed so I set up a bait station near the entrance. I used a AA mag light with a red lens cover focused on the kill zone. I had the 25 Mrod set on the bench rest already aimed i in the proper direction about 20 yards out. Should be easy pickins..
After about 30 minutes of enjoying the summer night and a cold beverage, I started hearing them rustling in the trees around me. Some very close but no action at the bait station yet. I went inside to reload my drink and grab another AA mag light with a red lens to help me out.
I sit down behind the bench rested mrod once again but now I have a flash light in hand. I hear more rustling and it turns out this guy was robbing my squirrel feeder right under my nose only 10 yards away! He stole most of that corn cob one kernel at a time shooting up and down the tree. I just swung the rifle around, held over 2 mils, and dropped him.
I did see another one at the bait station later but I was not able to get a shot off. I may try again tonight.

10 yards!!
That polymag was screaming when it met Mr Rat.
Couldn't happen to a nicer animal.
Congrats on the nice shot.
