Last week I stopped by my favorite convenience store/gas station, owned by our neighbors at our new property. The owner and his wife both mentioned that the pigeons are getting thick again and I could come out whenever I wanted and do some shooting. The wife mentioned that she used her "Judge" .410 piston and got a few at close range. That evening I went out with my old TF-89 and climbed up in the barn. There must have been 50-60 pigeons in there, all going crazy flying around. In about 5 minutes of busy shooting I bagged 18 pigeons. No camera so no pics. Sorry. 2010 pigeons #248-#265.
This past wednesday WadeS received his new .22 Marauder. He has been shooting it a lot but only has the 4X scope off his Mendoza on it now, awaiting the 3-12 Leapers that should arrive soon. He has only shot two types of pellets so far, the JSB 14.3g and Crosman pointed. The JSB's shoot HORRIBLY. About 6" group at 35 yards. The Crosmans were well under 1" at 35 yards and pretty consistent.
This morning we headed out to the local feedlot for a early morning pigeon shoot. They were everywhere. As soon as we pull up. he shoots one off the grain silos out the truck window. He got out of the truck and shot another in the same location. We then crossed the road to the feedlots and walked around slowly shooting a bunch more. After about 3 hours of shooting, we had 29 pigeons in-hand. There wer another 6-7 that flew off and we didn't recover. Wade toasted a starling that was feeding on a sileage pile and I greased a starling on a feed pile. Not bad, 32 birds in 2.5 hours. I'll post a pic later. Pigeons #266-#280.

jsb's shoot horrible out of mine too.he should try cphp and predator poly mags only thing with the poly's is that you need to have a single shot tray or have your clips moddified.
