Remington NPSS first kill

The UPS truck delivered the new NPSS this morning and after a barrel clean and CBR trigger install, I mounted a scope. After I dialed in the scope I was target shooting and I have to say this new gun is very accurate. Only 50 pellets through it and I am putting one ragged hole in a target 25 yards away.
During my target practice I saw a mynah bird land in my papaya tree 40 yards away. The fruit thief thought he could get a free lunch. I already had a pellet in the breech so I turned 20 degrees to the left, put the crosshairs a little above his chest and sent a .22 caliber FTT away at 780 FPS.
It was his last supper:

One of the few on here to get the NPSS, and it sure looks like a beautiful rifle, especially sitting next to that pest starling relative.

nice shot, congratulations on recieving a fine new air rifle and also having the chance to break it in the right way....did the carbon fiber start peeling off of your stock yet?, if not give it a month or two, jk i hope that does not happen. I have heard bad things about that though. hopefully they addressed that problem. i almost bought a npss, but decided to go for the trail np instead because i had heard complaints about the finish peeling from the npss. what a nice looking air rifle though, i still want one!

Joshua, I think it was the camo finish peeling off the older Crosman NPSS but they fixed that problem long ago. I may buy a hardwood stock for the Benjamin Legacy for it though.

thats good that they addressed that problem, it would be a real shame cuz the npss is really an awesome rifle. maybe i should have got one, mabe i still will, but at this point there are just so many different rifles that i want to get that i dont know where to start. lol !! im glad you like it!
