I haven’t eaten Florida marsh rabbit in years. We’ve got cottontails up here and that is what I hunt. Good shooting on your part if did get one cause they are definitely shy.

DonI'm Assuming it's not Peter Cottontail or the Easterbunny....... , from what I'm reading it's some sort of Musk Rat, Nutria or Beaver, I hear they all taste pretty good..... as long as they're not Gutter Sewer Rat, that's fine with me...
What was the ruleOnly take and eat rabbit in months that have a "R" in it's spelling?Took a quick on that wives tale. And a guy said this"did a bit more investigation into this and I think I have found an answer. The culprit is a disease called Tuleremia, or "Rabbit Fever". An easy way to tell if a rabbit has this disease is to look at the liver during cleaning. If there are white spots on the liver, the rabbit is no good to eat, and you should wash your hands very thoroughly ASAP. It can be transmitted from rabbits to people either by eating the meat, or through a cut in your hand during cleaning. From what I have read, temperature has nothing to do with this disease.'Page 2.https://www.huntingnet.com/forum/small-game-predator-trapping/302260-rabbits-month-s-r.htmlI figure if I'm hungry enough and I can cook it well done it's going to get eaten.. ... 😆Anyway fla.airgunnerI guess you found a good fitting pellet for that 34?
Depends on how hungry you are .. starving don't care.Destroyers are working, good deal. The crosman pahranha are a bit bigger / tighter then the hollow points as well they may work for you?I don't guess we ever seen a muskrat around here . Nwfl.area don't mean there ain't none today. I had a few rabbit get in my green beans and as long as I did not have a way to shoot him I'd see him . If i had my gun I never seen him except for the bean tops on the ground chewed.I don't get why you can't post pictures . Forum pictures are one of the easier to do . Here it's simple.Oh well.
