I honestly didn't get out there early enough to get a good shot at a red squirrel, daybreak is the best time for them when they're not so energized running all over the place. I really did enjoy myself trying out some slugs in the semiauto, but I did find out on the previous day that you have to be careful with them during the loading process because if one happens to fall out of the magazine before inserting you're gonna get a jamb for sure. From now on I'll be carrying the magazines in a ziplock bag before I even insert them into the gun.

Thanks Kevin !!! It's doing 50fpe with pellets but I never check what the energy is with the slugs yet but I suspect its probably doing more than that.

Thanks Randall !!! I think that from now on I'll be using slugs in that gun because it seems to be more accurate with them than the pellets are.

Nice shot on the chipper Wayne! Man those slugs produce some big exit holes. I feel sorry for the critters

Thanks Harry !!! I got out with the Liberty yesterday shooting similar style slugs in 22 cal, that gun really shoots those accurately for them long shots. I did manage to get a red and a couple chippers with it, I'll be posting it as soon as I get the video done. I've also got the AEA 30 cal carbine I haven't even shot yet, I'll be casting up pellets for it soon and I'll be getting out in the woods with that gun soon. I've got a feeling that it's going to be shooting the pellets too fast though. I may buy one of the weaker springs from Bin Tac soon for it, I'll first try it out the way it is out of the box though.
