As the title says, my 460 killed a scope Interesting enough, it's making less than 12ftlbs. The scope used was essentially a UTG True Hunter knock off. They have been very reliable on many of my magnum airguns, I have had 6 in total, the oldest has about 3,000 shots on it from various guns. This one is the only one to fail so far, with only about 450 shots with it mounted on the 460. About 150 of those were at full power, then I took it down to 12ftlbs, which it has settled in just above 11ftlbs.I was out shooting this, as it's normally very accurate, then I couldn't hit anything I was aiming at. So I set up a target at 25 yards to see whare it was printing. Low and far left, thought it was strange. Went to make an windage adjustment, no dice. Recticle wouldn't move. It has turrets that can be loosened to reset zero, figured the screw worked loose, nope not it. So I went to grab a spare scope I have. Its a 6-24X50AO with 1/8 MOA adjustments. A very sweet target scope. But... Not enough adjustment for elevation with my UTG base. Very frustrating. That's fine, as I don't think it's springer rated. So back to open sights for now. Thinking of thinning that front post. Any suggestions?
