Actually those young groundhog that size are pretty decent eating . Once cleaned and cooked they taste about the same as young rabbit

There are three more waiting if I decide to try it...I could certainly put them in the freezer until I'm ready to cook. Any recommendations on how to clean them? More specifically, are they different from adults, e.g. any scent glands needing removal?I'll add a funny thought I had a while back about these guys: I remember looking at them and thinking, hmm, about the size of one slipper. Get two and have a pair to wear!
