When shooting a spring gun off a rest don’t just use a traditional firearm rest. Use a folded towel or something soft over it. Spring guns need to move and don’t do well off a rigid rest typically. That is a pretty darn good group for being new to airguns. You and the gun will settle in nicely.Take care, shoot safeChris
I recently got a tuned Beeman R9 (same as the HW95). Tuned by Mike at flyingdragon.Sadly, I must admit it's not as much a pleasure to shoot as I had hoped. And so far my $150 Gamo break-barrel is more accurate. Been out to shoot it a few times, still trying different pellets. Hopefully I'll find a perfect one soon, 'cause I'd hate for this to become a safe-queen.
Hey frank, sometimes these guns can be a bit finicky at first but like a fine wine they get better with age, or shooting them i should say. What caliber do you have and what pellets have you tried? Have you mounted a scope and shot and if so, what scope? How far are you trying for accuracy and what kind of groups are you getting? How many pellets have you put down that barrel? There are lots of other questions but these will help me get a baseline to hopefully give some advice that might help
"1/2" seems a rather big hole for a $500 gun."
With all due respect Ed, you need to lighten up

He quoted you that doesn't absolve him from culpability or make you any less of a tool. Heaven forbid anyone just be happy for someone else instead of putting others down. Your mother would probably be ashamed.

YES! Why would you do that? It makes you a jerk.
