New set of adjustable rings for Hatsan 125

I ordered a pair of height adjustable rings for my Hatsan 125. The gun was maxing out the vertical adjustment on several scopes that I have put on it. I seen a heavy duty looking pair of rings that were Height adjustable for less than $20.00. They are Monstrum Tactical and are built like a tank. Just the ticket for this cannon of a magnum gun. After setting them up with a 4-12x44 Spectrum Center Point scope, I had only a few small adjustments to make before POI was dead on at the 20 yard zero-in range.
I shot a 5 shot group at 50 yards, the first and only group with these rings, and the accompanying photo is what I got. The bottom right hole has 2 through it. Very happy with these rings and their new home. The rings had come with a wrench also because all the fasteners are a torx bolt. The adjustments are very easy to make also. Probably going to order another set of these just to have around for a heavy hitter. That is the most accurate shooting this gun has ever done. Rock solid setup.

Nice !
You were maxing out due to the somewhat loopy pellet trajectory on longer distances ?

Thank you Tom and Rudy.
Rudy, my scope couldn't zero the cross hairs at any distance because of the alignment of the rail/gun configuration from the factory. The scope didn't have enough adjustment. And at fifty yards these pellets aren't really dropping much with the velocity this gun is shooting, if any. I just gave her a rebuild 2 months ago due to some issues it had. I ran the gun over the chrony in stock form to see why the recoil was so harsh and violent. It was only shooting the 20.06gr H&N FTT @650-670 fps. Way low. It even ended up snapping a trigger blade in half because of the recoil! I tore it down to see what was going on. What I found was too much lube in the wrong places and the main culprit was a ripped and slashed piston seal. Hatsan gave me the parts for free and I rebuilt the gun right with a lot of Love and care. Now it shoots 798-810 with the same pellets and a great shot cycle, hard but crisp with no twang or extra shaking. I'm really fond of this rifle now. And those rings were the last piece of the puzzle. It's come full circle.
Happy Easter Everyone and God Bless,
Mike
