William duy made me two peek poppets that'll work on the Liberty, Freedom and Avenger as well. I installed one in my Liberty and haven't touched the gun in a few months and it's still right up to snuff as to what it was when I put it away. The other one will be going into my Avenger very soon as well because that gun has the same problem with the poppet as the Liberty's and Freedom's both had. It's crazy that Nova Vista hasn't addressed the poppet problem yet and it makes me wonder if they every will, it's a self destruct poppet the way I see it.

You would think they would sell a replacement !!wll
If you can send me a stock poppet or the dimensions I can make you a Delrin one. I can't guarantee a PEEK poppet will seal unless I have the whole valve to work with but I'll make you one to try if you want, all I'd want is the cost of shipping.

Wow what a wild poppet design... I can't think of a good reason to do it that way. You have to machine the stem down from a larger diameter steel rod, but you don't get the durability of a one piece steel poppet. The hole goes all the way through for no good reason, FX has a pass through stem but that's to use as a balancing piston and spring guide. If it didn't go through they wouldn't need the flared mid section to keep it from sliding and you wouldn't have to worry about leaks. I would just drill a blind hole in the face of the valve like I do for marauder poppets and insert a 3mm rod for the stem. I can only assume the material they use for the poppet isn't strong enough to hold the stem from punching out the front when the hammer hits it. Also with a better material you wouldn't need the metal shell around it so you could reduce the OD a little bit.
Is that black horseshoe a clip that goes into the large top groove on the stem?

I can When assembling a delrin or peek poppet with the stem going into a blind hole, would retaining compounds such as Locktite 638 or 648 be suitable adhesives?Any others?ThanksEd

James, have you been actively shooting the rifle or has it just been sitting but not losing air? I think you can see the point in my question as the repeated stem hitting against the valve face shot after shot is what destroys the sealing material.
FYI my Insta-Morph poppet is still holding up. It's been a few months now IIR, since I did that.
