Simple DIY .25 cal Pellet Pen

No commercial devices are available for holding and dispensing .25 caliber pellets that I could find, although there are .177 and .22 caliber pellet pens on the market.
A simple solution is to use a
Pentel ClicEraser
which is an almost perfect size to accommodate .25 pellets. It has a built-in slide and includes a soft rubber eraser that seats into the slide, although it is slightly too large to prevent pellets falling out of the end.
As a retaining piece to keep the pellets in the pen and dispense them one-by-one, the eraser cap from a
Pentel QuickerClicker
mechanical pencil fits over the end of the ClicEraser beautifully.
Trimming the eraser to a cone shape and to a length so that it will push the last pellet all the way out of the cap when attached easily prepares the eraser to act as a soft seat for dispensing the pellets. Cutting out the already vented circle from the top of the QuickerClicker cap and cutting an X about 1cm (3/8") down prepares the cap to act as a flexible gate to let pellets pass one at a time and keep them securely in the pen. All that is left is to attach the cap to the ClicEraser securely using glue and/or a small zip tie, and this DIY .25 cal Pellet Pen is ready to carry around 9-12 pellets. Some pellets might not fit quite right (I couldn't get FTTs to go past the neck of the pen without widening it slightly) but many work fine (10x BHEs and 12x Exact Kings checked briefly).

Thanks for sharing your experience with the DIY pellet pen, It is a useful tool to have, there are several airguns that I could use this with. Your accomplishment has been acknowledged.

Nice, I did something like that with a marker for .35 slugs, but not as slick as yours, and I did not share
