Not exactly sure which one fell first but they fell 1, 2 then 3. The first was a looker. It looked at me, i looked at it through the RD and pull the trigger. I was the last thing it saw. It hit the ground and the dog gave him one of those full body massages. After a minute or two the second came out from hiding to get a closer look through the branches, probablly wondering why his buddy had his nuts on the ground when there were so many nuts just waiting to be raped from the tree. I was in a perfect position with an angle from behind it's right shoulder. Through the shoulder and out the neck. Once again the pooch stepped in and gave his usual body massage. I knew there was at least one more but i couldn't see where it was hiding. Then a rat came running from across the street and jumped straight into the tree. I guess this one didn't see the action from where he was. He bounced around on a few limbs and came right to the lowest branch where he sat there looking at his sleeping kin. The pup didn't see him until he started flipping his tail and barking. A few flips and barks later and he was flipping and barking no more. A quick body massage and tree-rat 69 was in the bag.
#70 got away. During the course of moving around i somehow knocked the barrel out of alignment. Took a head shot but hit him in the rear. He hit the ground and ran back up the tree. Next thing i saw was blood dripping all over my driveway. I hated to leave him bleeding and hurt but i couldn't trust taking another shot the way my barrel was floating.
I think if i add another barrel band to the forward end of my HiPAC adapter it will prevent any further problems with floating issue.
