I got my new package of Predators in the mail today and I was sitting around waiting for a sparrow or a starling to come around, doing some computer work, etc. I glance out of the window and notice that there's a small bird chasing another through the air, colliding with it, bring it to the ground, and then taking off again. So I try to follow through the scope but can't really even keep up at 3x until finally they both come to the ground and I notice that it's a house sparrow and either a crowned sparrow or some kind of finch, so I took a quick shot at the hosp and got it in the breast. Not a kill shot, but the other bird got a clean get away, but the hosp got away unfortunately.
Just thought it was interesting. Also had a bit of luck today, thinking, "Well, that figures, I get my new package of predators and no starling," and as soon as the thought left my head one landed and got took out.
I guess it was an okay day, but definitely a less target rich environment than the last few days. I think that's because it's real windy and cloudy.
