There is one Nutter, who the second my head slowly pops around my house, to take aim at the thieving Hellions on the ground, i just hear him scamper up the Pecan tree and disapear.  i don't know if i missed or hit, or whatever him before... but he's entirely to fast for me.  i know him because of a distinct tail.  and when i get the SOB, i'l be happy.  Until then, i counted 5 nutters in my backyard just now, 3 on the ground and 2 in the tree.  i got this guy as he was sitting in the tree munching on a pecan.  the pecans are still green, and i'm trying to ensure SOME get to maturity...

i love the Titan.  It is not hold sensitive at all, i hold it gently, open palm, hand resting on a rest.  medium light grip on the pistol grip, and good cheek weld.  its hard for me to break from my powder burner hold, and i havn't mastered the "Artillary hold" yet.  but its working for me.  i hope to get as much as Shadow one of these days!

Nice shooting!  You have every right to protect your pecans.  They are for you and you family, and not the squirrels.  The nutter that takes off when he sees you must have observed you shoot one of his buddies.  That's all it takes - 1 time to see you shoot and pick up another dead squirrel, and they have you marked.  It sounds like he barks to give the alarm when he sees you.   That's good because he will give away his position one day and you 'll get him in your crosshairs.

Go straight for the head, protect your nuts. What part of the country are you in? His belly is quite a bit lighter than the ones here in SE Texas.

Dogs have just sounded the alarm. I think there's another rat in my pear tree.

That's what I love about Texas. It's a shoot-to-kill state. Small game, big game, doesn't matter, just shoot to kill.
