Title: Cursed, or blessed?
Post by: 454 Big Block Chevy on July 18, 2010, 05:39:05 PM
i don't know if i'm cursed, or blessed?  the Pecan tree in my back yard has bright green pecans on it... and is starting to draw attention of the local nutters.....

I think  you're a a little of both   ;D

You've got a natural nutter magnet and a duty to protect your pecans...... doesn't get any better than that   ;D

Only thing better will be that tender squirrel meat lying on a plate next to some roasted pecans as a garnish   ;D

Both !!! I have a big almond tree and they are sitting in the Avocado tree filing their teeth waiting for the almonds to ripen out. I let them have the almonds as long as they leave the avocados and mangos alone. Probably have a nice tropical taste to them with all that internal marinade. They are pretty scrawny down here though. Not like the fat fatties we used to bag up in the midwest when I was a kid. I let them be for the most part. They'd be a good SHTF food source !!!!!
