Question for MM on Chinese branding

In the B28 thread, you said it is the Xisico 28. I thought they were sold as the BAM28? Did BAM make all of their own guns or did Xisico make some? Kind of confused since I thought BAM was no longer exporting to the US, so the BAM28 was out of the new gun picture.

BAM is one manufacturer and Xisico is another, to start with the Xisico rifles were branded as "B- whatever" they will now be Branded as XS-whatever. Xisico has their own factory in China and are working at making rifles every day...BAM is the other factory and is not selling rifles to Xisicousa at the moment, could change and then it might not. The other big maker in China is Shanghai (QB rifles and Tech Force) they have purchased Beeman airguns and are selling their stuff under that name now...

Great to know...I have been looking at the TF-99 as it does something for me for some reason.

So which one made the original (if you can call it that) 350 clone? BAM? But now Xisico is making the XS-28? That IS the same 350 clone, correct? I guess this is where my confusion is/was.

Xisico has always made the 28, when they first came out they put the B-28 label on it as that was what all the other China rifles had that they were carrying. They now want folks to know that the rifles they make are easy to identify, hence the XS....

I bought my Xisico B-20 new a few years ago now, and it was (is) stamped XS-20
That confused me a little when I opened the box way back when.
Terrific gun, by the way.
