Great job slaying those starlings, if I was getting that many I'd start eating them myself, people say them little breasts are mighty tasty
@Wayne, all of them fall into the muck of the pens, lots of cows in there along with some bulls, no way I’m going in there especially in the dark. I went back today at 2:00 pm and walked in the now empty pens, the frozen muck and mud made it near impossible for these old eyes to find the bodies. I suspect I’m providing the resident rat population with a lot of protein. Shot about 20 birds today, 1 pigeon at 50 yards off the tall barns roof. Many house sparrows and a few starlings at 30 and 40 yards off the peak of the shorter building. Way less shooting than at night, but I enjoyed it much, much more, I love the challenge of the longer shots. The Aztec Emerald is awesome, clear and uncluttered and fast to use. Being able to see the critters at 25x makes my shots that much sweeter. I can see and hear the impacts. The sparrows took it hard today.

Rats run all over in muck pools and are likely flourishing with the "new" feast. Time to start turning the sights to the four legged buggers in there as well!
Wow, I'm blown away by the sheer numbers of starlings. Wow.
