Norm ... excellent .... again .....Steve, nice target, and with a 97 not even broken in! One of you springer guys will bust the 200/200 barrier, very soon.I am going to try to get one in today, but it won't score near as well as 198. Maybe 178. Oh well, it's all me, the rifle is shooting just fine.Pappy
Had some time this morning. The -2 with the circle around it was all my fault...... a bug landed on my ear just as I pulled the trigger . Still untuned with about 110 pellets through it. This gun can definitley outshoot my TX and is a lot less hold sensitive.MartyJumperHW 97KCP 4-16X44.177 H&N FTT 8.6478deg and calm..... F & R bags.177 on a .22 target and scored with a mt plug190/200 3X

I was struggling to get this rifle to shoot (all of a sudden) and I went through the whole rifle trying everything BUT the scope. As soon as I swapped the scope (Hawke Airmax 4-12x40) over to my Bushnell Banner, the problems went away. I guess that I will be in the market for a new scope to mount on this rifle. $200 budget and any suggestions other than Hawke would be appreciated. Out of 4 Hawke scopes, 3 have had to go back for repairs and this would be the 2nd time around for this particular scope. Hawke, I'm done! Sorry for the rant, I am frustrated that these scopes seem to have sooo many issues.

Took one of the B51's I've had stuffed in the closet and got busy in the shop this afternoon and built me one of them sub 12fpe guns. Wasn't too far off as first shot across the chrony was 848, so I had to trim a little off to lower spring preload and came back and did 795 with 8.4's. Have a lot of adjusting to do, untuned but it's showing promise...So, here is my inaugural PCP entry. Brent (TheBman)PCPB51 .177AA 8.4 4.52Mueller 8-32x44 on 20xSeated, double bagswind to 8mph86 degreesshot on .22 target and scored with a plug195/200 9X
Steve, everyone is loving the 97 thumbholes, and they appear to be outshooting the TX's on a regular basis. It may be time to sell my TX and get one?Pappy
Excellent shooting, makes me want to try my luck.
I am going to have to get my Talon SS fine tuned to participate next time.
