Jungle Hog Hunt

Today I was hunting a series of very narrow steep Gulches.
The .45 BullPup is perfect for this kind of hunt where things happen fast and at close range.
As it happens I was slowly making my way down a Gulch when I heard something on the slope to my left, luckily I was right by a tree so I braced myself and immediately I noticed this very nice saw coming my way,
Not much time to think so as soon I was comfortable I took the shot, she was quartering to me with the head down coming downhill so I put the shot at the place where the skull turns, I wouldn't never took this kind of shot with a small bore, but the extra power of the .45 gave me the option.
She was coming down the trail to the left of the tree I'm leaning into
The shot,..straight left from the ear
Couple of pictures to show the narrow steep Gulch
Very nice Saw

When you go for the headshot,
you either hit the brain and it drops reigth there,....or you miss the brain and you'll never see it again.

I look forward to reading your stories and seeing the photos. I just back back from Hawaii where I saw and hunted goats(pb). Although I've seen a lot of goats, I've never seen one of those boar. Thanks for posting your hunts
