I have been hearing rumors that the bores are running a little larger in the .22cal barrels of the hw95's. has anyone else heard that? And also, I know that every rifle is different but with that said, owners of hw95's in .22cal, what pellets are working for you guy/gals?

Bores may not be the same in two different rifles of the same model. This is not a problem or a shortcoming; it's just the way it is. Some HW .22 bores recently seem to have favored larger head sizes, at least in Canada. I had a HW97 from 2013 that preferred H&N FTT 5.55mm pellets and a 2013 HW95 that shot FTT 5.54's the best. I know other shooters have reported the same thing. It's not only HW rifles, but
all
rifles. This is true for Air Arms TX200's as well -- that is to say they each have their preference as to which head size they will shoot best, not necessarily a larger head size. This is the way it is for all pellet rifles, except for those that may not shoot anything particularly accurately at all. Each individual rifle has its own preferred diet of pellet make, weight, and size. You have to test a variety of pellets in your particular rifle to find which it shoots best. Of course, there may be those shooters who miraculously shoot the same pellet equally well through half-a-dozen rifles or more, but they are anomalous and perhaps more.
