QuoteI have a love-hate relationship with all of the Beeman/Weihrauch air rifles. I hate that I had to work on them right out of the box.Someone said something insightful... How good of a gun (like every HW) is it if it needs tuning? Can one perhaps spend a bit more or choose wiser and get one that doesn't need tuned?

Yea, spend $700-800 and get an Air Arms.
QuoteYea, spend $700-800 and get an Air Arms. Which one? Break-barrel, no U/Ls for me plz. .177. Something long and stout and quiet and lasts forever.I had a T200 for a while. Tiny little thing. Let that go about six months after buying it.
- to me this is all a matter of opinion only ... and I chose Weihrauch -
Keep bloviating ... Preacher ... we enjoy your angst .
Keep bloviating ... Preacher ... we enjoy your angst .But no, tried a few brands and ended up here. Fox News - On my God - They're Terrifying .........
You are the only person that I am aware of the thinks the HW 95 is bit sized. A buddy has a Benjamin NP2 that I find large and unwieldy. It might be just the ticket for you...Most powder burner rifles are smaller than most airgun rifles, so what fits you?Air Arms used to make a break barrel called the Pro Ellite, it almost bankrupted the company. Otherwise consider a HW 80. -Y
