I shot at a rabbit with a .25 just outside of 35 yards. The bunny stood up after hearing the report, then pulled out a catcher's mitt.

Like I said before, if someone wants to try a .25cal spring gun without spending a lot of coin? and still get a decent rifle the Cometa 94 is a cheap way of getting your feet wet! and they produce as much or more power as the 97, these rifle have very good adjustable triggers in them, I have a Fenix 400 compact same rifle in .22cal, I've had this rifle since 2010, it shoots very well! I shoot it pretty regularly, yes I have tune it up and down, it currently shoots 512fps with 14.3gn Crosman Pointed Hunting pellets, @23yds this thing shoots 1 small ragged hole in the paper! and if you decide the .25cal is not for you then you don't have a lot of money invested in the gun! Not sure what you mean by "they're the same power houses like the Hatsan 125", but that ain't so. I have both, and the powerplants and the power outputs are in completely different categories, 18 vs. 30 fpe.
