Hello, I have rediscovered my Beeman RX-1 purchased (1990?) in the way back of the safe...I recall it was very accurate, I shot maybe 250 rounds total...15-20 years back! open sights only...I ordered some 20 cal pellets which should arrive next week (H&N -2 types).I recently read the OEM maintenance manual and it is, to me, confusing, as it covers both spring and air ram pistons, and is not the clearest manual I've ever read I have 2 tubes of oil in the maintenance kit and needles.** Does the air chamber need lube? ** Beeman advises that it needs to be done by a service professional (?)** Can or should air be added? How? ** Does tuning always improve accuracy? Or, just shoot it?Even though I handload for quite a few calibers, I don't have or use a chrono.Any information would be appreciated.Thank you!
