It averages around $300 a month. It's cheaper in the summer when grass is plentiful and we don't feed hay. Random vet bills can make that spike in a hurry though.
That wasn't as bad as I thought it could have been; but if vet bills are anything like people doctor bills then I see what you mean... Thanks for indulging my idle curiosity anyways,Jesse
They're pretty much pets now that my girls are grown and don't ride as much. Horses are often thought of for their strength but they are actually pretty fragile animals in some ways. They never get sick or hurt on a warm sunny day either. It's always the middle of a weekend night when it's freezing cold and raining.
It was $3.66/gal yesterday here in Vegas, filling up wife's near-empty VW came to over $50 To be honest I've driven an electric car myself for the past 3 years (just returned it last month because its 3-year lease came to an end) but I am now a convert. However my next EV on order won't be ready till early next year, so I'm sharing the wife's car for now and again must drive to gas stations and touch gas pump handles. I had really gotten used to waking up to a car with a full "tank" of electricity every morning, it was like having my own gas pump in my garage. In fact after my own positive EV experience the wife just ordered hers(!), supposed to be ready by end of next month and then hopefully after that we won't have to worry about gas prices.
