Anybody else thinking of investing in riding lessons and stables?Heck; no DL or insurance necessary! More on topic; however-am very glad that we got most of this summer's mowing gas a month ago... With any luck we won't need to get gas again until the fall firewood cutting season....And if that fails I have a nice Bahco bowsaw with extra blades... Jesse
When the new administration took over I told folks we would have $5.00 a gallon gas by summer.
We rolled into New Bern, NC late Monday afternoon to look for a house to rent.

Yes it is nice here. We found an apartment to let in until the rental house is available. Both are in Oriental along with our property and sailboat. We can walk to everything from either rentals so gas won't be an issue.

You can buy a lot gas at $5 a gallon for what it costs to keep them healthy and fed.

The only way I think the price could be evened out is if you grew all the feed yourself (not a task I think I'm up to, LOL!)Just curious; what kind of ballpark range does a horse cost to feed?Jesse
