Thanks to all fellow shooters for your kind comments. I'm quite sure with a little time and work with this rifle or your favorite shooter, a lot of people could do just the same or better. But I am making progress. And to Lt. Dan. I was using Jsb 10.34 gr And to Bayman. I did see that. If it was in .22 I would have had to get one. I can't find the .22 version.
I like mine, but it doesn't get much use. It's actually up for sale locally. Not a collector and hate guns gathering dust! It's easily accurate as a gun twice it's price.
I wonder if I can tune the Parrus well enough to match the accuracy of the R9 at sub-50yards?It was a nearly $400 break-barrel before they dumped them for under $150 recently. Perhaps a new model coming out? It's a Walther (aka Umarex, not Lothar) barrel, which is suppose to be good.Comes threaded, and I already have a KOI suppressor on it. Right weight and size. Love that beefy foregrip.Have a new R9 I'm thinking of returning or selling. Perhaps some of those funds can go toward my joy.
That's most impressive shooting. Congrats on showing us what your Parrus can do! Oh, and what you can do with your Parrus.I hope to get closer to that kind of accuracy in the years ahead.Archie
Hey Plumberroy - did you get a good one like my .177 (good trigger, good barrel & crown, clean shot cycle) or does yours have a sketchy barrel/trigger like the .22 I sent back?Inquiring minds want to know.... ha ha
I thought you really liked the rifle, on your other post you mentioned you might return or sell the R9.
