I bought one of these from Wes and if he had more in stock I’d buy them all. Reticle is just about perfect , focus down to 12 yards (actual) no magnification problems to adjust and make calculations. Turrets work as they should with audible clicks . The glass is just as clear as the more expensive discovery HD or even ED line. Wish they made one in 6x , that would be just about perfect.https://www.opticsplanet.com/vector-optics-marksman-10x44mm-rifle-scope.html
There is also a very clear 10 yard focus scope called an Aim Sports Alpha 6 that is on sale at extreemtactical sign up for their email and member discount program to get the 4.5-27x50 30mm side focus illuminated for less than half price. $180 shipped. Extremely clear scope for the money with a daytime bright illuminated reticle. Clarity is simply amazing for this one.Discount code is ja6hd be sure to sign up first to earn rewards points and they might have 5% off new members if thats still going on.They take longer than average to ship but not as bad as DVOR or Optics Planet.
If you guys can do a group buy it will save around half off.Glass is absolutely incredible on this particular modeland can't say the same about their other ones that aren't as nice.Do a search Alibaba 4-20x50 Discovery HD FFP $185 with a minimum of 5 pieces.

You're paying for glass you'll never likely use. Plus, it will be needlessly heavy.Additionally, the 50mm front optic will give a short DOF, which means more fiddling with the parallax adjuster, which is already a bit of a problem with air guns.I suppose if all you do is bench shooting, then it could be a good scope. Certainly not for small game hunting and DEFINITELY not for pesting.
To be honest I'm a real scope snob and own high end March, Kahles, Nightforce, Zeiss, Leupold, Sightron, Tract Toric, Athlon Cronus among others you get the idea and only like clear glass.I like both Discovery 4-20x50FFP and 4.5-27x50 SFP Alpha6 scopes better than my $699 SWFA SS 3-15x42s.Strongest points are how bright and clear the Alpha6 is all the way to 27x Lifetime no BS warranty and also has daytime bright illumination daylight noon visible and perfect reticle for $180 sale regular $393 from the same customer friendly company that sells the DAR Gen2.IMHO it's clearer than the Aztec Emeralds and Vortex Dimondback Tactical and Strike Eagle and PST Gen2 and Hawke Sidewinder 30 and Bushnell Forge and most Athlons made in China. (Actually all Athlons that are made in China IMHO).You be amazed how many people I recommended the Alpha6 to who are extremely pleased with them. You would be pretty sick spending $999 for another Chinese made scope under a popular well known label such as Vortex and compare it to this $180 Alpha6.
